Centro Famiglie & Dintorni offers comprehensive consultancy on psycho-social issues with a particular focus on psychotherapy, psychodiagnostic consultation and therapies and treatments for learning disorders, therapies for cognitive development and scholastic support using the Feuerstein Method.

The service is open to anyone facing psycho-social issues: adults, adolescents, children and families.

The Centre opened its doors in 2008 and is a place to talk things over and find help in a mutually supportive environment of genuine exchange which avoids diagnostic and social labelling of the complex diversity of the personal stories of each user.

The aim of the services is to develop the capacity of each and every individual to navigate life’s challenges, finding points of reference within themselves and their community.

The Centre is able to offer such a diverse range of services thanks to the team of professionals with exensive experience in both the private and public sectors and a range of different specialisations.

As well as working with individual members of the public, we also deal with operators of the institutions dealing with services to the public to foster initiatives focused on prevention of disadvantage, multiculturalism and cooperation between citizens and their organisations.

Our Centre is affiliated with the municipal authority Comune di Milano and the Association of Psychologists of Lombardy within the framework of the project “Sustainable psychology” and accredited with the Health Board ASL Regione Lombardia for the diagnosis and certification of learning disorders.
